Capital Bible College - Ministerial Credentials

Ministerial Credentials

The Capital Bible College program fulfulls the educational requirements for a minister's license with the Northern California-Nevada District of the Assemblies of God. The 2 year Diploma in Bible and Ministry fulfills all licensing and ordination requirements. This license is recognized by the General Council of the Assemblies of God national office as well as all regional districts in the United States and abroad. Students planning to apply for credentials with the Assemblies of God are advised to refer to the Constitution and By-Laws of the Northern California-Nevada District of the Assemblies of God for other non-educational requirements.

Licensing and ordination is also available through other recognized denominations and ministerial associations. Graduates have met all or part of the license and ordination requirements for: Church of the Foursquare Gospel, Calvary Chapel, Christian Evangelistic Assemblies, Wesleyan Methodist, Evangelical Church Alliance, and others.

Placement

Graduates are recommended to internships and available positions in ministry through CBC staff contacts from various churches and ministries. And, upon licensing, a resume may be placed with a denominational office for recommendation to various church ministry positions available in the region. However, no guarantee of placement may be made.

Internship

For those planning to go into full-time ministry, Capital Bible College offers an internship program. Students work in selected churches as intern pastors or in their individual field of ministry. This program will equip students with practical experience in Christian ministry.
