Ministries

Personal Evangelism MIN 1 (2 units)
A study and application of the scriptural foundations, history, and methodology of building the Church through various means of evangelism (e.g. personal witnessing, street meetings, tent crusades, house to house visitation, community surveys, church evangelistic meetings, Sunday school, and electronic media, et.) With an emphasis on personal witnessing.

Introduction to Missions MIN 2 (2 units)
A study of the Biblical material dealing with missionary work. The call of God, effective preparation, and the fulfillment of the calling are examined. Theological issues, cultural problems and political factors will be considered in developing a methodology for fulfilling the Great Commission with the guidance and power of the Holy Spirit.

Cross-Cultural Communication MIN 203 (2 units)
The principles, processes, and problems of communicating from one culture to another. Special attention will be given to the development of attitudes and methods that will enable effective communication of the Gospel to people in other cultures.

Introduction to Youth Ministry MIN 104 (2 units)
This course introduces a philosophy and methodology for youth ministry. Leadership, pastoral care, and modern youth culture are studied. Emphasis is on practical issues and effective solutions.
