Understanding Islam - Theology Elective (2 units)
Communism controlled countries and millions of lives for over 80 years, but Islam has controlled billions of people for almost 14 centuries. Everyone who reads the Bible will encounter Islam! Jesus went to Tyre and Sydon. Both cities are controlled by the radical Islamic group called the Hezbollah. The disciples were first called Christians in Antioch. Both Antiochs are now Islamic cities. ALL of the seven churches of the Book of Revelation today are under the grip of Islam. By the eighth century, all of the Middle-East, 1/3 of Asia and Africa and 2/3rds of Europe were under the bondage to Islam. 3/4ths of the known world was controlled by Islam. Islam is the most anti-Christ movement in all of history and is the greatest challenge to the church today. Most of Europe is under the dominance of Islam and they are here at our shores. It is important to understand that this is the fastest growing religion in the world and in the United States.
